In this role, you will:
- Establish and manage business partner relationships, lead and assist in planning IT initiatives for Latin America, capturing all wing to wing interconnections.
- Set the vision, strategy and roadmap for the use of IT in the region. Ensure IT programs in the Latam region are aligned with business plans and the DT COE technology roadmaps.
- Be a change leader by driving sustainable business process improvement using technology and LEAN/6s strategies. Drive process automation to eliminate non-added value activities.
- Own, manage and drive deployment of standard work and global IT platforms. Partner with business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and realization of value to the business.
- Enhance systems to comply with regulatory and fiscal requirements to allow business continuity.
- Drive the aggressive retirement of legacy platforms and transition to strategic global platforms.
- Provide integrated technology solutions to improve data quality and gain productivity.
- In partnership with the global COEs, global functional teams and regional stakeholders, define and drive the simplified next-gen ERP foundation that will help keep the company compliant with local regulations and support local operations in a cost-effective and productive manner.
- Foster and drive innovation using digitization to drive key business outcomes and to delight our customers.
- Be the local point of contact for all escalations, IT operations and IT systems used to keep the business running.
- Ensure project portfolio management, including establishing and reinforcing a unified governance for other project management initiatives in the region, having a “One Latam PMO approach” in terms of management and visibility, enabling adequate prioritization and trade-off discussions.
- Lead the team dedicated to services process improvement initiatives, connecting such initiatives to the overall project portfolio management in the region.
- Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-region business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
- Responsible for people management activities within the functional area including recruiting, development, performance management, compensation, organization and teaming.
- Responsible for program budgets, resource allocation and planning to ensure delivery of business benefits.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a Global matrix organization.
- Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication.
- Demonstrated solid performance, leadership and experience in lean and process mapping.
- Coordinate efforts in line with the bigger picture to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority.
- Strong project management experience.
- Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions.
- Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading teams.
- BS Degree in Information Systems or related technical discipline or equivalent.
- Ten years of IT related experience.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent.
- Leadership Training Program Experience (ITLP, OMLP, FMP).
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- PMP / ITIL certified.
- Good command of Spanish.
