Job Description:

The Leadership Development Program in Global Operations offers recent university graduates the opportunity to accelerate their professional growth through a structure that combines challenging work rotations with international and online training over a period of two and a half years.

The goal of the program is to develop the next generation of leaders across Johnson & Johnson's global supply chain functions.

The functional areas of the program include, but are not limited to, operations, procurement, quality, planning, customer service and logistics, project and process engineering, facilities engineering, and quality technical support. The combination of cross-functional work assignments and active learning helps develop the skills and capabilities necessary to build your career path towards leadership.

Participants will learn to drive their careers in environments that support ambition, promote collaboration and partnership, and recognize individual contributions. At the same time, associates benefit from the impact of a leading global health company, with training and development and career opportunities in a dynamic global environment.

Program Components:

  1. International training
  2. Combining hands-on work experience with business, leadership, and personal development training.
  3. Rotational assignments in areas that generate real and impactful business results.
  4. Opportunity to expand technical capabilities, leadership skills, and business knowledge.
  5. Exposure to a wide range of experiences across the global supply chain in J&J's business segments.
  6. Global networking, in-person training, and virtual collaboration with colleagues around the world.
  7. Development of technical skills in various areas, including:
    1. Project management
    2. Supply chain management (planning, manufacturing, and procurement)
    3. Quality and regulatory compliance
    4. Manufacturing operations
    5. Customer service and logistics (distribution, transportation, and warehousing)
    6. Product and process analysis and improvement methodologies (six sigma, lean, design excellence)

Responsibilities:

During your participation in the program, you will be responsible for demonstrating a practical understanding of how the different global supply chain functions of Johnson & Johnson connect to support our business and customers around the world.

Trainees will gain valuable experiences across the supply chain while:

  • Participating in the planning, production, and distribution of products and services.
  • Maintaining or improving manufacturing operational costs, efficiency, capacity, and compliance.
  • Collaborating with internal customers and external suppliers to drive important business decisions and outcomes.
  • Learning about the design or redesign of new products.
  • Maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding the business impact on customer experience.
  • Keeping the customer at the center of everything we do.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation between July 2021 and July 2025.
  • Degree in a related area to supply chain, business, data science, or engineering.
  • Maximum of 4 years of professional experience (including internships and full-time employment).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Availability to work on-site in São José dos Campos, Brazil.
  • Interest in exploring cross-functional assignments in a global supply chain.
  • Leadership skills.
