ABOUT THE CHURCH AND POSITION

GRACE Church Bethlehem is a church with 150-year-old roots, infused with a pioneering spirit and calling. We recently moved into a new campus in the fastest-growing part of the Lehigh Valley, which includes a Sanctuary with a D&B Soundscape system and Ross/Blackmagic video system. We are seeing God move in powerful ways in this exciting new season.

We are an all-generations community of people, living in different neighborhoods, with different stories, that have all been shaped by grace. Together, we invite people to know the grace that Jesus offers. This commitment shapes how we come together on Sunday morning, and how we scatter throughout the Lehigh Valley during the week.

The Production Director is responsible for ensuring that all technical aspects of services, events, live stream, post-production, lighting design, and production/equipment infrastructure are executed in a timely and excellent manner which furthers the mission and ministry of GRACE Church.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop & Further Broadcast Audio & Video
• Be the creative leader to continually bring GRACE’s live broadcast to the next level
• Maintain and troubleshoot systems and equipment
• Lead a weekly meeting to review broadcast from previous week
• Take responsibility for shot color, camera motion, framing, switching pace, etc.
• In conjunction with Worship Director, mix recorded rehearsal audio (Waves LV1) in preparation for Sunday’s broadcast
• Manage Live Production Needs for Worship Services, Rehearsals, and Events
• Ensure that equipment is set up prior to event, tear down equipment as needed
• Schedule production teams in Planning Center Online
• Lead Sunday pre-service meetings
• Prepare slides in Pro-Presenter
• In conjunction with Worship Director, mix virtual soundcheck in preparation for Sunday services
• Prepare mics and bodypacks for all pastors and speakers
• Work with operations team to prepare for weddings, funerals, conferences and all events that require AVL
• Work with discipleship staff to prepare for production needs for small groups
• In conjunction with Classic Worship Director, work to refine production needs and audio quality for choirs, orchestra, organ, piano, etc.
• Develop and Train Production Volunteer Teams
• Recruit and continually train a team of AVL volunteers
• Help develop volunteers in their faith
• Build and sustain a culture of encouragement, community, and creativity among the production team
• Prepare ahead of time for production team members to serve during rehearsal
• Create Audio and Video Post-Production Content
• In conjunction with Creative Director, work to record and edit audio and video for any post-production needs
• In conjunction with Worship Director, mix and master recorded worship audio as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong relationship with Jesus Christ and guided by a commitment to follow Biblical principles for life and ministry
• Energized by the mission and vision of GRACE Church Bethlehem
• Desires to work in and contribute to a collaborative and energetic team culture
• Has strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Able to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly
• Passionate about implementing technology to enhance Grace’s existing ministries
• Experienced in live production
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.

SKILLS

• Experienced in mixing FOH audio
• Extremely proficient in Dante Networking, Pro-Presenter, Pro-Tools and Waves
• Proficient working with Blackmagic Systems, RESI, Ross Dashboard, D&B R1
