Offer Description

The 5G and 6G Network Competence Center, xGMobile, is hiring a talented post-doc fellow to lead the research on analysis and proposals of security techniques for agricultural applications 4.0 within the project “Proposal of Technological Solutions for Agriculture based on IoT and Artificial Intelligence to Obtain Requirements in 6G Networks”. The post-doc fellow will be responsible for managing and performing software testing in the security area, with the development and validation of algorithms and techniques for user and device authentication, secure boot, encryption, and secure communication.

Theme and Research Area

Project Title: Proposal of Technological Solutions for Agriculture based on IoT and Artificial Intelligence to Obtain Requirements in 6G Networks

The scholarship spans an initial period of 12 months, with the possibility of 12 additional months based on the researcher’s achievements and funding availability.

The selected candidate will receive a Postdoctoral Fellowship stipend ranging from R$ 9.000,00 up to R$ 12.000,00 per month, depending on the curriculum analysis.

  • Networking Protocols: MQTT, CoAP;
  • Cryptography, Device and Application Security Techniques;
  • AI and Machine Learning for anomaly detection and automated threat response;
  • Programming Language: Python;
  • Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment Tools: Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark;
  • IoT, blockchain and embedded systems;
  • Implementation of security algorithms for IoT solutions;
  • Demonstrated relevant academic production in high-impact scientific journals;
  • Advanced English proficiency.
