Your Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for healthcare and medical devices? We are seeking a Portfolio Manager – Orthopaedics & Spine to oversee and optimise a dynamic product portfolio, ensuring alignment with healthcare professional needs, patient outcomes, and business growth objectives.

In this role, reporting to the Senior Manager Marketing (Surgical), you will play a critical part in evaluating market trends, identifying new opportunities, and making data-driven decisions to enhance our competitive advantage. By working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders—including surgeons, sales agents, and healthcare providers—you will develop and execute strategies that drive customer satisfaction, improve patient care, and expand market share.

Your expertise in product management, market research, and stakeholder engagement will contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of our orthopaedics portfolio.

Your Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Execute marketing and product management strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, assess opportunities, and refine the product portfolio.
  • Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and forecasts for portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams to enhance product positioning.
  • Facilitate product training for sales agents and attend key industry events.
  • Engage with surgeons, hospitals, and healthcare providers to strengthen relationships and drive adoption.
  • Monitor industry regulations, compliance requirements, and market dynamics to ensure best practices.
  • Utilise CRM and analytics tools to track performance and support decision-making.
About You

Ideally, your background will include:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Several years of experience in sales or product management within the orthopaedics or healthcare sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with a commercial mindset.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong team orientation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
Additional Requirement

To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in Australia/NZ, a valid Driver’s Licence, the ability to travel nationally and internationally as required and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
