Plant Accountant

The Plant Accountant will be supporting site-level financial operations, partnering closely with the Financial Operations Controller. This position oversees core accounting functions including cost tracking, standard costing, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting. Responsible for maintaining accurate product costing and analyzing cost of goods sold, the role also provides actionable insights to support operational decision-making. Serving as a financial resource across departments, the Plant Accountant helps drive performance through cross-functional collaboration and strategic analysis.

Key Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Minimum of five years experience in accounting or finance within a manufacturing environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and experience with comprehensive ERP systems, particularly in cost accounting.
4. Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
8. Must be willing to work on-site in Allentown, PA, as daily attendance is required.

Working Situation:

This will be an in-office position.
