What you will do

1. Lead the migration of Tebra’s core application from Laravel 6.x to Laravel 11.x, ensuring smooth transitions between versions by addressing deprecated features and implementing necessary adaptations.
2. Collaborate closely with the core development team to improve and maintain the application’s functionality, performance, and scalability.
3. Drive the implementation of new features as part of the ongoing product roadmap.
4. Ensure high performance and availability across the platform, applying best practices for testing and deployment.
5. Work with RESTful APIs to enhance data flows between services.

Must haves

1. 4+ years of experience with PHP, with a deep understanding of the Laravel framework.
2. Strong knowledge of API development (RESTful).
3. 2+ years of experience with Python.
4. Comfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) and best practices for managing code.
5. Experience working with high-traffic, enterprise-level web applications.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
7. Agile methodology experience, including participation in Scrum teams.

Nice to haves

1. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, Harness, etc.) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
2. Familiarity with the healthcare industry or digital media.
3. Leadership experience or interest in mentoring.
