We are currently hiring Operations Technicians for our Darwin LNG facility. These positions are based in Darwin and follow a rotational roster.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will lead emergency responses, ensure the efficient operation of Process and Utility areas to meet production goals, record maintenance activities, identify and mitigate hazards, communicate with operations staff, and develop operational procedures and training manuals.
Additionally, you will positively influence team practices, manage role-related risks, and contribute to a positive organisational culture aligned with Santos' values and behaviours.
We are looking for dynamic and adaptable team players who possess the potential to lead, influence, and build positive relationships. Success in this role will be driven by a resilient and proactive mindset.
Successful candidates will hold a Certificate III in Process Plant Operations, with experience in hydrocarbon production and control room operations. Familiarity with production processing and utility systems, permit to work systems, and safety and quality systems is advantageous. Experience in using and interpreting Isometric and Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs) is desirable.
