Offshore Translator

We are looking for a highly qualified Offshore Translator to join our team. If you have full English fluency, a passion for languages, and want to contribute your skills to dynamic and challenging projects, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities:

• Translate technical documents, operational reports, and various communications between onshore and offshore teams
• Ensure accurate translations, maintaining technical precision with industry-specific terms
• Facilitate communication between teams of different nationalities, both in Portuguese and English
• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and other professionals to ensure clarity and cohesion in translations
• Provide support in meetings and conferences, performing simultaneous translation when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in technical translation or proven experience in the offshore industry
• Ability to perform simultaneous translation

Job requirements

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Proven experience in technical translations, especially in the offshore or industrial sector
• Knowledge of technical terms related to the oil, gas, and maritime operations industry
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in teams
• Availability to work in offshore environments as needed
• CBSP and HUET certifications are mandatory
