Network Security Architect (1 Year Contract With The Possibility Of Extension)

Airswift is seeking a Network Security Architect to work in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with a major O&G company.

This role is part of the Security Infrastructure and Connectivity department, and one of the focus areas of this team is to enable the company to connect and collaborate by delivering secure network solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Act as a resource for network architecture and design;
2. Engage with business projects to provide domain expertise, advisory and recommendations;
3. Engage with vendors and partners to identify network solutions for business projects, including surrounding industry best practices;
4. Closely collaborate with the Connectivity Lead in Brazil as well as the international team of other network architects;
5. As required, participate to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines;
6. Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity to constantly monitor and develop barriers against threats.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. LAN / WAN, Cat 9k, routing, switching, MPLS, RSTP, Wireless 802.11 standards, RADIUS / TACACS etc.
2. Knowledge of different types of SFPs and associated cabling;
3. Advantage with skills within automation, e.g., Ansible, Python etc.
4. Experience with commercial software like DNA-C, ISE, Prime etc.
5. Fluent in English and native Portuguese skills.
