What You Will Do

1. Participate in a 6-month project focused on enhancing mobile test automation.
2. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications using the Detox framework.
3. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
4. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases.
5. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies to ensure the highest quality standards.
6. Work closely with product owners and scrum masters in agile ceremonies to refine and prioritize testing requirements.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks to keep pace with evolving technology and business needs.

Must Haves

1. +4 years of experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
2. Hands-on expertise in building and writing automation tests using the Detox framework.
3. Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and the integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
4. Experience working in agile development teams and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Nice to Haves

1. Familiarity with additional test automation tools (e.g., Appium).
2. Experience with performance and security testing of mobile applications.
3. Knowledge of RESTful API testing and integration techniques.
4. Exposure to version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools.
5. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
