Job Summary:
Landis+Gyr is implementing a Global Master Data Management (MDM) tool. The MDM Tool Analyst will be responsible for implementing, integrating, managing, and supporting this tool and its workflows, ensuring compliance with Landis+Gyr’s MDM Governance and Quality requirements set by Global Data Owners.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Successful implementation of the MDM tool.
- SLA and User Satisfaction (ServiceNow Service Desk support queue).
- Timely implementation of Change Requests (approved ServiceNow Change Requests).
- MDM tool performance and overall system health.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the selected partner to implement the MDM tool and its processes, ensuring alignment with Governance and Quality requirements.
- Integrate the MDM tool with SAP ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Define and implement MDM tool Governance Principles according to Landis+Gyr’s compliance requirements and vendor recommendations.
- Work with the MDM Tool Owner and Global Data Owners to establish an MDM roadmap.
- Develop and enforce an MDM tool RACI framework.
- Establish policies, processes, and technical measures to maintain the long-term health of the MDM tool.
- Ensure the MDM tool and its architecture are prepared to support future business needs.
- Perform administration and maintenance tasks following the Governance Principles.
- Manage MDM tool access roles and permissions.
- Lead the planning and execution of yearly upgrades.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for MDM tool users.
- Collaborate with the vendor support team to escalate and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain internal MDM tool documentation.
- Work with Global IT and Global Data Owners to expand the MDM tool to additional data objects, countries, and applications.
- Develop workflows, integrations, and data validation mechanisms.
- Translate technical complexities for Global Data Owners to ensure understanding of design decisions.
