Market Research Associate - FI Brazil

BRM (Business and Relationship Management) is currently seeking a market research associate based out of our São Paulo office.

The Market Research Associate role is housed within the Business and Relationship Management (BRM) group based in São Paulo.

The candidate will be a key member of the Financial Institutions team. This team's principal objectives are to support the relevant FI Relationship Managers in their relationships with Banks, Insurance Companies, Non-bank Financial Institutions and Fund and Asset Managers.

We’ll Count on You To:

• Support the FI Brazil commercial team in their dealings with Banks, Insurance Companies, Non-bank Financial Institutions and Fund and Asset Managers.
• Deep capital markets research and prepare briefings for meetings
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials and email campaigns under guidance from senior members of the team.
• Understand and monitor competitors’ ratings, maintaining internal reports and internal database with company/target and contacts information.
• Monitor news, keep track of Brazil’s capital markets activities (local and external debt issuances), refinancing and M&A activities daily

What You Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or analytically focused field of study.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and attention to details
• Be pro-active on researching and finding new business opportunities (business oriented), strong organizational skills.
