How you will contribute

You will:

  1. Work in close partnership with the business leadership team to execute the analytics agenda.
  2. Identify and incubate best-in-class external partners to drive delivery on strategic projects.
  3. Develop custom models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drive long-term business performance.
  4. Execute the business analytics program agenda using a methodical approach that conveys to stakeholders what business analytics will deliver.

What you need to know about this position:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of a cutting-edge solution that aims to automate data pipelines, reporting, and insights to standardize business performance across the US commercial organization to support Mondelez on our AI transformation enabling our 2030 vision. You will play an instrumental part in shaping and prioritizing the features of this solution in daily operations. You will define the requirements, perform the analysis, and identify patterns in large amounts of data.

Job specific requirements:

  1. Experience in Data Analytics required.
  2. Experience as a Leader in Data Analytics field required.
  3. Leader mindset – Leading technical teams to success through clear decision-making, accountability, and a hands-on approach.
  4. Experience in Data Product Management – contributing to Regional or Global Data Product Vision and Roadmap with a focus on consumers, partnering with Stakeholders, ensuring adoption and cost-efficiency.
  5. Passion for building high-quality data products, using data to drive business growth, and being comfortable working with data in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting.
  6. Experience in Commercial Business domain, ideally in CPG or FMCG industry including industry-specific external data sources such as POS Sellout Data, Nielsen Syndicated Data.
  7. Experience with Master Data challenges between external and internal data sources.
  8. Power BI, Tableau, and GCP (Google Cloud Platform) experience preferred.
  9. Knowledge of KPIs and scorecards required.
  10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement, explaining complex data concepts to non-technical individuals.
  11. Fluent in English.
  12. Experience with data governance, privacy regulations, and best practices is a plus.
  13. Experience working with Agile using tools like Jira or ADO is required.

What extra ingredients will you bring:

  1. Be a player & coach to combine people leadership, strategic partnership, and data hands-on activities. Run a team of 5 - 10 off-shore contractors, support the creation of data models, and write and run discovery-level SQL queries.
  2. Accountable for building Commercial Data Products, and ensure high data governance standards, including data completeness, harmonization, standardization, data quality, master data, data catalog, accessibility, usability, and scalability.
  3. Work with large amounts of data such as facts, figures, and mathematics/formulas and undertake analytical activities, delivering analysis outputs in accordance with customer needs and conforming to established standards.
  4. As an investigator on the data & analytics team, you will apply your knowledge of languages and pull data out of SQL databases, using Tableau/Power BI type tools and producing data visualizations and reporting dashboards.
  5. Define requirements for analysis in a given business area and perform detailed analysis and identify trends defined in the requirements.
  6. Identify patterns and help the business react to changing business conditions.
  7. Lead the team to perform root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
