Machine Design and Construction Engineering Supervisor

Your Contributions

As a Machine Design and Construction Engineering Supervisor at MAHLE Itajubá, your role will be to coordinate the team for the development of machine, device and tooling projects, with national and international scope and with great growth potential:

• Coordinate the adaptation and development of projects and the manufacture of new machines and tools as solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Develop machine and tooling projects through the application of technical knowledge and appropriate standards.
• Support the Group's technical needs in terms of machines, equipment and tools, aiming to meet requests and definitions.
• Maximize the application of production resources (M0) through the correct assessment of technical and individual skills, encouraging creativity and specificity.
• Maximize the application of financial resources (PI) with the effective application of the cost/benefit ratio in technical definitions.
• Manage the technical documentation resources of the area in an appropriate and updated manner.
• Keep technical information relevant to projects available, enabling its rapid access by interested areas.
• Assist in the technical definitions of production resources to be made available to production areas.
• Develop, absorb, introduce and make available technologies and new concepts that modernize production and administrative processes both to the sector of responsibility and to other relationship areas.
• Prepare budget forecasts and investment plans for subordinate areas.
• Contribute to increasing team motivation by assisting in the personal and professional development of members.
• Ensure the effective application of internal and external resources through technical validation.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Completed higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation or related areas;
• Solid knowledge of mechanical components, automation and process controls, with a focus on machine and tool design.
• Experience in leading projects to develop machine tools/custom equipment and highly complex automation;
• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings;
• Experience in managing the final phase of the project with commissioning of equipment at the client's premises.
• Advanced or fluent English - with conversational skills (mandatory);
• Availability to work in person in Itajuba - MG;
