We have a 6 doctor AAHA accredited animal hospital looking to add a Licensed Veterinary Technician to our team.
We offer a wide variety of services at our hospital, including soft tissue surgery, dentistry (with two dental tables), and therapeutic laser and ultrasound. Our practices aim to utilize licensed veterinary technicians to the full extent of their licensure.
We practice Low Stress handling techniques, and a number of our team members are Fear Free certified. We also love technology – as an example, our doctor team utilizes Scribenote, a medical transcription software that substantially cuts down on record completion time, and we recently transitioned to ezyVet practice management software.
We also place a high emphasis on continued education for our full team; our doctor team has completed GlobalFAST ultrasound training, which is also available to interested LVTs!
Our leadership is servant style, prioritizing the growth, well-being, and empowerment of employees while fostering an inclusive environment.
We have monthly staff meetings to keep everyone in the loop of hospital updates and policy changes, and daily huddles to help drive the flow of the day.
Fostering our team culture is important. We do annual team building events as well as things like staff potlucks, holiday gift exchanges and more.
We want someone with a growth mindset that has collaborative ideas and strong focus on being part of a team. We are also looking for someone willing to share their knowledge with others on the team.
