Lead Software Engineer: Development, Tools and Methodologies

Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Lead Software Engineer: Development, Tools and Methodologies to work with Verification Formal Simulation and Development, Tools and Methodology in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Development, Tools and Methodology Team is responsible for software and web development. The R&D work at Cadence is very dynamic, fast-paced, and integrated with other teams all around the world.

• Maintain and develop a web interface for internal usage.

• Solve server and infrastructure issues related to developed tools.

• Enhance and implement development workflow increasing R&D productivity.

• Responsible for developing Cadence’s internal software.

• Understand and modify different development workflows from multiple Cadence products.

• Dealing with real-world software challenges, helping develop tools that are used by many teams across Cadence.

Requirements:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related field with experience;

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

• Experience in PHP, Python, or MySQL.

• Web development experience (React, HTML, JS, JQuery, CSS & related).

• Experience with containers (Docker & related).

• Great verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Good version control knowledge.

• Linux and farm usage (LSF, OpenLava) knowledge.

• CI/CD workflow implementation.

• Cloud knowledge (AWS & related).
