JOB PURPOSE

Planning Excellence LATAM is the guardian of planning processes and serves as a partner in the implementation of new technologies and global programs. This area is dedicated to ensuring that planning operations are optimized and aligned with the latest technological advancements, promoting a high level of adoption. By focusing on continuous improvement and innovation, Planning Excellence plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning area. The team works closely with integrated planning, HUB partners, finance, and IT, ensuring that the planning function remains agile and responsive to the evolving needs of the business, thus delivering cash.

If you are skilled in conflict resolution, able to mediate discussions effectively, and adept at connecting business needs with planning processes, this role is for you. You should be capable of finding solutions to complex problems, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

1. Overseeing Planning Processes and KPIs:
   • Responsible for managing and monitoring planning processes across Latin America.
   • Ensures key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and aligned with organizational goals (stocks, service and waste).
2. Implementation and Adoption of New Tools:
   • Acts as the frontline in the implementation and adoption of new tools.
   • Promote learning development in planning community.
   • Enhances daily operational processes through innovative solutions.
3. Strategic Partnership with Global Team:
   • Serves as a strategic partner in executing initiatives and directives from the global team.
   • Ensures alignment with global standards while addressing regional needs.
4. Driving Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
   • Focuses on driving continuous improvement within the planning domain.
   • Guarantee discipline of Unilever process in all countries and HUB partner.
5. Coordination of Planning Triangle (Planex/Integrated Planning /HUB partner):
   • Coordinates priorities and development of necessities to achieve planning goals.
   • Ensures seamless integration and execution of all initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge in planning and end-to-end supply chain (SC)
• Understanding of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Affinity with tools and new technologies
• English and Spanish are essential
