You will be part of the Finance & Accounting team in Brazil. As an assistant accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team.

You will work under the supervision of more senior colleagues, collaborating closely with them to support various finance initiatives and processes.

Your role will involve regular interaction with team members to ensure the smooth execution of financial tasks and the maintenance of financial systems.

Your Impact

You will conduct a combination of administrative and basic analytical activities for the Finance & Accounting Team.

You will create routine reports and support finance initiatives under supervision.

As a Junior Accountant, you will develop experience with Firm standard reporting tools and build knowledge of firm accounting policies.

You will use financial reporting systems to create, manage, and distribute regular monthly financial reports for the office/cell.

You will also prepare and process transactions/payments for the office/cell, as well as process data and assist in providing basic analytical support, problem solving and data interpretation.

Your qualifications and skills

• Degree in Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law or similar
• Experience in supporting internal and external auditing
• Fluent/intermediary English
• Experience with SAP 4 Hana is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Organized, responsive, committed and proactive
• Be problem solver, working independently to find best solutions
• General tax calculations (Direct, Indirect, Withheld, Exchange) – Municipal/Federal spheres
• Submission of ancillary obligations (DCTFWeb, PER/DCOMPWeb, EFD-Reinf, MIT, EFD-Contributions, IBGE, CBE ECF, etc.)
• Control of tax lawsuits
• Registrations with city halls in different municipalities – CPOM
• Tax and Compliance Trainings
• Control of Donations, Tax Incentives and Intercompany
• Preparation of Cash Flow for tax payments
• Accounting for taxes in general (IRRF, IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, COFINS) and SELIC update
• Monitoring and regularization of tax status with the RFB
• Years of previous experience in the Tax area
• Knowledge of Accounting
