General Description

At CI&T, we're growing fast and looking for a talented, motivated Data Engineer to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions for our global clients.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability.
3. Integrate data quality into data pipelines.
4. Implement dimensional data modeling.
5. Implement/work with client Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions.
6. Implement/work within client Data Governance practices (catalog, lineage, etc).

Requirements:

1. Advanced English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
2. Experience working with international clients.
3. Coding experience with Python.
4. Experience with Snowflake and DBT.
5. Strong background in data engineering with modern data stacks.
6. Experience in a cloud (Azure) environment using SQL and/or Spark (with Apache Airflow and Dataforms).
7. Familiarity with Data Quality practices.
8. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
9. Expertise in dimensional data modeling.
10. Experience with Data Lake/Data Warehouse implementations.
11. Understanding of Data Governance principles.
