Hi, this is Mateo from CI&T! I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for people located in Brazil for a Senior Quality Tester to work on a project in the aviation sector.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Quality Tester (Automation) to join our team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in modernizing a large-scale messaging platform for a leading global player in the aviation industry. You will ensure the quality of multiple systems by designing and implementing robust automated test suites and collaborating closely with international teams. Advanced or fluent English proficiency is essential for effective communication with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Define and implement a test strategy aligned with the Test Pyramid principles.
2. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend services.
3. Ensure high-quality standards through test planning, test case creation, and execution.
4. Work in a DevOps-oriented environment, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
5. Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and define test scenarios.
6. Monitor and analyze test results, tracking quality metrics and software coverage evolution.
7. Support and mentor junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team.

Requirements for this challenge:

1. Deep understanding of the Test Pyramid and ability to apply it effectively.
2. Solid experience in test planning strategies and writing test cases/scenarios.
3. Strong test automation experience, especially for backend services with tools like Cypress.
4. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
