Infrastructure Platforms (IP) International Services is a horizonal service organization. We leverage the scale and expertise of the product organization to deliver IP global products at a local level, linking requirements and understanding regulations to ensure IP products are delivered to meet customer needs. We align with the international CIO organization within each region and with direct linkage to global IP Platforms & Services.
Job responsibilities
Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform routine server monitoring and maintenance.
Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, and installations.
Monitor server performance and optimize configurations for efficiency.
Maintain server documentation, including configurations, procedures, and policies.
Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
Stay updated with the latest server technologies, trends, and best practices.
Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents.
Support Line of Business application developing teams with Application SDLC and Infrastructure demands.
Engage with tools and operations teams to address failure patterns and incidents in Infrastructure Components such as OS and Storage systems.
