What the day will look like

Is a recognized authority in the I&M industry able to commercialize vertical services through the commercial teams, lead & support the development of the strategic plan for the I&M industry, partnering closely with solution lines, subregions, countries, and our global organization with the main goal to support and own the execution of our I&M Industry strategic plan. Responsible for supervising all strategic and tactical initiatives of Client Experience within I&M industry in LatAm, coordinating priorities that support growth plans and the execution of I&M industry initiatives approved for the Region/Subregions that are presented at the regional level (Latin America) or at the Global leadership level, adjusting them to local reality where applicable and needed. Also work with the ACL Client Experience & Industries Leader LATAM to set strategic Client Experience I&M industry priorities and complete them through a broad range of partners; Support LATAM Commercial team leaders and I&M industry verticals teams in subregions on the development, planning and monitoring of key critical initiatives.

Client Excellence:

  • Building personal and company brand and visibility in the market;
  • Supports the country champions for Manufacturing industry revenue growth in the respective markets;
  • Oversight and input into the region’s largest clients and new business opportunities;
  • Builds a strategy and drives the plan to accelerate closure of the largest opportunities;
  • Connects with AON´s Manufacturing industry authorities to bring standard processes to LATAM;
  • Develops and drives a Manufacturing industry marketing plan that demonstrates key events e.g. insight series with support of Marketing team;
  • Responsible for building cross solution line Manufacturing industry insight, innovation and thought leadership;
  • Provides updates for the intranet industry site, contacts, content, thought leadership etc;
  • Meetings with top 5-10 clients and prospects on a yearly basis.

Broking Excellence:

  • Influence and oversight of the largest I&M industry clients in the region - placement, rollover / retention;
  • Develops and maintains close collaboration and working relationship with local broking, SAMs, AEs, the GBC teams, AGRC, Claims teams and the Central Broking team;
  • Is part and support customer concern processes with Clients and Risk Carriers;
  • Dealmaker skills;
  • Drives and supports innovation.

Team Excellence:

  • Has a country I&M industry champion network and is working towards set goals;
  • Monthly calls and regular in person meetings with the in-country network to enable communication, share initiatives and innovative solutions, creating a community feeling and build trust;
  • Scales through the ‘I&M industry vertical community’ content, insights, client wins etc;
  • Contribution to the wider leader industry vertical network and internal communications and promotion of the industry vertical.

Solution lines:

  • Aon Solution line industry knowledge and input, demonstrating comprehensive understanding across all Aon Solution lines;
  • Identify key solution line specialists to improve offerings for the industry;
  • Ensures successful and effective dialogue between solution lines and the industry vertical.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure the ‘I&M industry business plan’ is executed as planned with the agreed timelines;
  • Contribute and connect with global I&M industry where applicable;
  • Ensure the IV forms robust commercial data and insights to support IV plans and growth.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Deep understanding of business environment in Latin America, trends and macroeconomic factors impacting our business;
  • Prior exposure to P&L management and proven financial skill;
  • Ability to communicate and connect easily; and to deal with complex, ambiguous, and constantly evolving situations;
  • Results oriented;
  • Self-driven and motivated, with an ability to show initiative in all situations;
  • Analytical capabilities and critical thinking to drive strategic insights to improve the business;
  • Team player, able to identify required skills in an inclusive and diverse team and distribute workload accordingly and monitor progress;
  • Educated to university degree level;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluent in Spanish, English and/or Portuguese;
  • Relationship capital: Builds and maintains deep client relationships at the executive level across multiple buying centers, and uses that capital to understand objectives, influence client thinking, and create results;
  • Consulting skills: Identifies client needs and clearly articulates the problem to be solved; recognizes challenges and barriers to solving them and assembles internal resources to achieve the desired client outcome;
  • Deep knowledge of the Risk and Talent agenda related to Industrials & Manufacturing Vertical Industry;
  • Prior experience supporting transformation processes or projects on Automotive, Discrete Manufacturing and Supply Chain networks;
  • Knowledge of workforce resilience issues;
  • Understanding of value chain networks among suppliers, manufacturers and distributors;
  • Position based in Mexico (CDMX, Monterrey, Queretaro or Guadalajara), Brazil.
