Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated HR Services Specialist Senior - LATAM to join our dynamic team. You will play an important part in ensuring the seamless delivery of HR services by handling inquiries, driving process improvements, and supporting employees and managers with multiple HR operations. Your Responsibilities:

  • Receive, route, resolve, and close all HR inquiries promptly within your specialty, which could include: Hiring and onboarding, Employee data changes, Leave of absence administration, Accommodation requests, Employee separations, Global mobility transactions, Local benefits or payroll support.
  • Implement process improvement projects to enhance customer experience.
  • Handle escalated requests, analyze problems, and advise on appropriate actions.
  • Create training for newly hired HR Specialists on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), customer service best practices, and data insights.
  • Collaborate with HRSC leadership, Centers of Expertise (COE), HRBPs, or third parties to resolve complex inquiries or transactions.
  • Enter data into HR systems and tools.
  • Use the Workday Help tool to capture, track, and follow up on inquiries, monitoring Indicators and improving quality.
  • Participate in system testing, identify system or user interface issues, and provide feedback to HRSC leadership.
  • Review open case queues daily to ensure proper resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to extend best practices across the HRSC team.
  • Provide general guidance on HR procedures to employees and managers.
  • Educate employees and managers on available HR resources and encourage self-service tool usage.
  • Maintain employee documentation (e.g., personnel file creation, retention, and deletion).
  • Complete local procedures such as benefits enrollment and audits (if required by the region).
  • Consult on integrating acquisitions into standard HR practices and systems.
  • Partner with HRBPs/HRGs on business reorganizations to ensure accurate organizational structures.

The Essentials – You Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in shared service centers or HR operations, including global employee relations.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • HRIS systems.
  • Interpret data and provide solutions.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • ERP knowledge (e.g., Workday, SAP).
  • Excel skills.
  • Meet deadlines and fulfill specified requirements.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

  • HR experience in areas such as: Global Payroll, HR Generalist, Employee Services, Compensation, or HR Data and Systems and HR Shared Services or Outsourced Delivery models.
  • Workday Human Capital Management experience.
  • Experience training new hires and sharing process insights.
  • Knowledge of process or project management and the ability to anticipate the impact of changes on end-users.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
