About the role: Join our global team at Henkel, a leader in adhesive technologies, as a Regional SHE Manager for South America. In this role, you will oversee safety, health, and environmental initiatives across the region, ensuring compliance with regulations and driving a safety-first culture within our operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while contributing to the growth and sustainability of our business in South America.


Job Description:

  • Manage implementation of Network yearly SHE improvement plan in line with global and regional priorities.
  • Develop, train & implement SHE Requirements throughout network sites & ensure compliance with the applicable government regulations and ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
  • Conduct SHE audits as necessary for Regional.
  • Provide SHE training at sites to enhance network’s SHE compliance to local country Regulations, Henkel Requirements, Process Safety.
  • Identify systemic issues across the Region and drive to resolution, escalate critical issues to Regional Operations and Supply chain Head.
  • Lead and coach team of SHE professionals in the Region and develop team members. Drive improvement in SHE KPIs and review KPI performance with Regional Leadership Team.
  • Lead, champion, and promote SHE culture & Henkel sustainability agenda through communication and training programs.
  • Communicate with external parties including customers, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Drive SHE compliance, intervene and provide SHE governance as needed to ensure no compromise to all applicable norms.
  • Ensure SHE input to major projects and all related regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Develop and train manufacturing sites in continuing SHE and monitoring results.
  • Assist in the implementation of process risk analysis/workplace risk analysis/job safety analysis in network sites.
  • Responsible to stop and intervene any unsafe related condition/behaviour.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in occupational health and safety or a related field or equal knowledge based on experience.
  • Overall Work Experience - 8 - 10 years' experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication at all levels, and organizational skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to travel 20-30%.
  • Advanced English skills needed, Spanish desired.
