OPERATIONS ENGINEERING
Summary: Working with post trading flow for Brazil products such as equities, futures, derivatives, and FX, supporting and developing in both local and global systems, as well as supporting vendors that communicate with Exchange, Clearings, Central Bank, etc.
Overview: A person applying for this role should be able to plan a system architecture, develop the application from the backend to the interface being used by the client, as well as create all the artifacts (entitlements, backup, connectivity) so the application can meet Goldman Sachs best practices. The Operations Technology department has a high developing demand. We work on global projects and local projects for the trading and post trading department. Besides work talk, the team has a good interaction. We keep others informed of our activities, build tools to assist our daily tasks as a group, and are very collaborative, keeping an open-source notebook of issues and solutions for everyone to see.
