You will be responsible for driving innovation and portfolio renewal of Infant Formulas and GUMs in the Americas Zone. The role involves leading initiatives that ensure brand competitiveness by combining market trends, consumer insights, and technical feasibility to develop innovative solutions.
A day in life ...
Portfolio Management: Continuously assess the performance of existing products, identifying needs for renewal, reformulation, or discontinuation.
New Product Development: Lead the creation process from idea conception to launch, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with GA, marketing, regulatory, supply chain, and commercial teams to enable innovations and optimize launches.
Project Management: Ensure that development timelines are met by aligning priorities and removing internal barriers.
Stakeholder Interface: Present proposals to senior leadership, justifying investments and demonstrating strategic impact.
Sustainability and Regulation: Consider regulatory, environmental, and social responsibility aspects in the design of new products and reformulations.
Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor competitor movements to anticipate trends and differentiate the company in the market.
What will make you successful?
Education: Bachelor's degree in related fields; MBA or specialization in innovation/product management.
Technical Knowledge: Product development, portfolio management, R&D, and financial feasibility.
Behavioral Skills: Organization, leadership, effective communication, and team management.
Differentiators: Adaptability and culinary skills for food innovation.
Experience: Previous experience in innovation.
