Core Technical Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and (GraphQL).
• Proficiency in Node Package Manager (npm)
• Understanding of file systems, streams, and buffers.
• Strong understanding of React hooks (useState, useEffect, useReducer).
• Knowledge of Context API, or other state management tools.
• Familiarity with React Router for navigation and routing.
• Experience with component libraries.
• Proficiency in building and styling components with CSS modules, SASS, or Styled Components.

General Frontend Skills

• Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, SQLite).

Nice to have skills

• Experience with real-time frameworks like Socket.IO or WebSockets.
• Familiarity with security best practices (e.g., OAuth).
• Experience with performance optimization and scalability in backend applications.
• Familiarity with tools like Webpack, Babel, and ESLint.
• Understanding of progressive web applications (PWAs).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
