Front-End Developer - React

Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Brazilian Mid to Senior-level Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work primarily focusing on front-end development using React. You’ll be collaborating with other developers in a remote setting, ensuring deliverables are met, while being adaptable to work both independently and within larger teams. This is a fully remote role, and you'll be expected to work within the New York time zone from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React-based user interfaces
• Ensure responsive and visually appealing designs using CSS
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable TypeScript code
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers for seamless integration
• Optimize performance and fix front-end bugs

Requirements and skills

Mandatory Skills:

• React: Proven experience with React, developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces.
• CSS: Strong CSS skills to create responsive, attractive designs.
• TypeScript: Comfortable working with TypeScript for front-end development.
• Autonomy & Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a larger team to ensure project deliverables are met.
• English Proficiency: Strong communication skills in English.
• Remote Work Setup: Ability to work 100% remotely within the New York time zone (8 AM - 5 PM).

Desirable Skills:

• AngularJS: Experience with AngularJS would be beneficial, though not mandatory.
• Linux: Familiarity with Linux environments is a plus.
• Backend Experience: While backend work is not required, any familiarity with kdb/q is an added advantage.
• Financial Services: Previous experience in Financial Services is not required but would be a plus.
