As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

All resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

• Disassembly of machines, opening of units, removal of components, inspection of removed components and interaction of internal and external components, following the manufacturer's procedures.
• Maintenance of main rotating equipment, such as centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, gas turbines, or steam turbines.
• Ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with contract specifications as well as manufacturer's plans and standards.
• Carry out, sign, and receive training on the Procedure and Risk Analysis of the activity to be carried out.
• Disposal of temporary waste.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Technical level training in instrumentation, electrical, automation, electronics, computing, or control and automation.
• Have an active professional council registration (CREA or CFT)
• Experience in TMS equipment.
• Experience in Baker Hughes/GE equipment, attested by a company that has carried out scope in the equipment covered the site operation, commissioning, and start-up.
• Capability in working under pressure, clear thinking, decisiveness. Team player skills.
• Ability and willingness to work on Field Services outages 70-80% of the time - availability to work in on-shore and off-shore sites.
• Knowledge of turbine generators and/or compressors equipment. Strong knowledge on rotating equipment installation/maintenance.
• Advanced computer skills including ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite environment, ability to learn special BH applications, and ability to utilize (or learn).
• Field Engineering experience.
• Intermediate in written and spoken English (Desirable).

Desired

• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering (Desirable).
