The Field Application Specialist is responsible for providing technical application expertise & value creation for the customer to competitively differentiate our products and achieve profitable growth for Pall. Additionally, support the Growth of the Funnel for new opportunity discovery in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide Technical Leadership for assigned market.
2. Perform Field Tests to Validate Pall solutions and increase Pall value proposition.
3. Lead as an ambassador, strategist, and negotiator.
4. Develop and maintain Strategies and Opportunities via Initiatives and specific projects.

This position is part of the Pall Energy+ Latam team and will be located remotely in São Paulo-Brazil supporting all Latam region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Collaborate with sales, analyze customer technical pain points, provide technical solutions for current and new applications that meet customer requirements.
2. Generate Pall product recommendations to meet customer requirements in support of closing new business.
3. Ensure competitive product knowledge within market advantage applications and coordinate with sales in support of value proposition discussions with the customer.
4. Develop knowledge of customers’ application and product.
5. Travel for a variety of reasons in support of strategic initiatives; symposiums/presentations, review customers operations/facility, perform field tests, review customer designs, and review the project in detail with the multidisciplinary design teams.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Background in technology/equipment companies with more than 8 years of progressive experience in technical sales and industrial functions. Must have experience in field piloting and testing.
• Available for work in industrial facilities in Off-shore Platforms, Refinery and Mining environments.
• Capability to work in different countries and cultures within the Latin America Region.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Business acumen (Commercial, Marketing, and Financial).

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Availability for travel 50% of the time. Possible work for 1 to 2 weeks out of home base.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, and meet any other physical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Selling skills, Presentation skills, Negotiating skills.
• Experience with the O&G business and Refinery market can be a differential.
