Purpose of the Role

To provide support to the Operations Team with structural hull integrity management of all TdB fleet (Jackets and SS) operating in Brazilian waters, hence reducing mainly the probability of structural failures, risk of pollution and water ingress which would result in major hull/structural damages to units.

Job Function

1. Experience in offshore platform and Floater structural inspections and repair.
2. Solve problems related to structural hull integrity of units, propose technical solutions and coordinate the offshore execution of repairs as needed.
3. Experience in creating repair plans based on inspection reports, and liaise with Engineering and Class in case of complex structural calculations/studies.
4. Develop inspection plans for specific structures/spaces for inspection vendors, outlining client-specific requirements based on previous inspection reports or suspect areas identified from each client unit.
5. General experience in offshore structural materials, fabrication, and installation aspects.
6. Ability to convey technical information between project management and offshore execution teams.
7. Act as focal point between client and structural inspection vendors, engineering suppliers, and Class surveyor.
8. Experience in constructability review.
9. Must have experience in material estimation, scheduling, resource planning, and resource development activity.
10. Work experience in revamp projects is an added advantage.
11. Ability to suggest innovative solutions and a proactive approach in the decisional process.
12. Promote cost reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives.
13. Provide offshore support to the Marine team for Structural/Class inspection-related matters.
14. Support offshore team during class surveys.
15. Overall control of project schedules and respect of statutory requirements.
16. Management of contractors.
17. Prepare close-out reports and lesson learned sessions for all work executed offshore.

Qualification & Experience

Engineering degree from an accredited university. Minimum 8 years, maximum 15 years of Oil and Gas Industry experience in green-field and brown-field projects of offshore structures. Strong hands-on skills for follow-up of project execution. Advanced English is mandatory.
