About the Team
The 1P Integrations Team is at the forefront of building and scaling a comprehensive suite of first-party eCommerce solutions. These include Online Ordering (websites, apps, kiosks), white-label logistics (Drive On Demand), customer support solutions, corporate ordering, merchant loyalty and rewards, and strategic marketplace partnership integrations. As part of a larger Platform Services organization, this team is poised to make a significant impact by helping hundreds of thousands of merchants across the Americas grow their businesses and improve their working lives in one of the country’s largest industry sectors.
About the Role
As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee a talented group of engineers, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, operation and other cross-functional partners. Your primary responsibility will be driving the successful execution of our product roadmap, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet both customer needs and business objectives. You will be key in fostering a collaborative and cross-functional work environment and promoting effective communication and synergy amongst team members. - BS, M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in people management leading backend teams of 5+ engineers.
- 7+ years of industry experience.
- Experience working with remote teams in different time zone(s) and fluency in English.
- Extensive experience as an engineer in a fast-paced, product-focused development environment.
- Experience with distributed system design, system scaling, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on leadership and strong product intuition.
