The Role Aspen Technology is looking to hire a Senior Solution Consultant with technical strength in Supply Chain Optimization for our team in LATAM.
This is an excellent opportunity to continue growing technically in the Supply Chain area, and to also take on a consultative role, providing sales support to our Latin American sales organizations. This Senior Solution Consultant will have a direct impact to help enable the Energy and Chemicals Verticals of Aspen Technology to achieve revenue growth targets.
This Senior Solution Consultant role integrates broad solution knowledge, consultative skills, and industry knowledge to propose AspenTech solutions to our customers and promote their adoption to maximize the benefits that our customers receive for using our products.
Your Impact- Articulate to customers in Latin America the value message of AspenTech Supply Chain solutions
- Participate in consulting engagements to facilitate sales, including workshops, value assessments, and seminars
- Apply consultative skills in customer-facing situations to identify problems and understand their business issues
- Facilitate Latin American customers understanding of AspenTech Supply Chain solutions: technical functionality, value creation, and business process improvement
- Perform customer demonstrations of AspenTech Supply Chain products
- Assist in the development of commercial proposals to customers in Latin America
- Act as a business partner to Sales Account Managers in strategic and tactical planning activities
What You'll Need
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering with 5-8 years practical experience in Refining or Chemical industry
- Experience in Supply Chain areas, either consulting or supply chain operations
- Experience using Aspen Supply Chain products such as Aspen PIMS, Aspen Unified PIMS, Aspen Petroleum Scheduler (APS/Orion), Aspen Plant Scheduler or any other Production Planning and Scheduling software solutions
- Knowledge of manufacturing business processes in the Refining and/or Chemical industry and associated enabling technologies
- Verbal/Written Languages: English and Portuguese required. Spanish is desirable
- Flexibility to travel 50-80% of the time in Brazil and all countries in Latin America/Caribbean
