PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Centre of Expertise (CoE) within SAP Premium Engagement & Advisory provides the expertise in application and technology areas to deliver high-end support to our Premium Engagement customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The CoE North Star Architecture team focuses on the top Premium Engagement customers providing strategic advisory on Enterprise Architecture, Business Transformation Roadmaps, Implementation strategies, Clean Core, Technical Architecture, and guidance during all Software Development Lifecycle phases.

As a CoE North Star Architect, your responsibilities will include:

1. Implementing strategies for Software Lifecycle management according to customer strategies, using standard SAP Tools for both On-Premise & Cloud solutions.
2. Building solid roadmaps and implementation strategies taking into account business organization and customer main objectives.
3. Proposing and designing architecture for complex landscapes including multiple non-SAP and SAP installations, products, and solutions.
4. Leading consultant and architect teams to design and build final and intermediate architectures, business processes, and integration strategies during different project phases.

As part of a global team, you will work closely with SAP Development, SAP Support Centres, SAP Consulting, and Business Transformation areas. Business travel will be an essential part of this role.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or Information Technology.
2. Ability to analyze complex problem situations and to develop solution approaches.
3. Good analytical skills.
4. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
5. Interested in working with an international team.
6. Fluency in both English and Spanish; Portuguese is desirable but not mandatory.

WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Solid experience on ECC and S/4HANA implementations, knowledge of different project methodologies, experience with Agile methodology is highly desirable.
2. Experience in at least one S4HANA implementation as consultant, lead, or architect, on premise or cloud.
3. Knowledge in one or more of the following solutions (Finance area): S/4HANA Finance (Finance and/or Controlling), Central Finance, Group Reporting. Experience with consolidation and tools for reconciliation is highly desirable.
4. Knowledge of Master Data Governance: Master data objects (business partners, customers, vendors, financial objects) as well as key mapping concepts.
5. Knowledge in one or more of the following solutions (Procurement and Order to Cash area): S/4HANA Order to Cash, S4HANA Procure to Pay, ARIBA.
6. Knowledge in one or more of the following solutions (Logistics area): Transportation Management, Extended Warehouse Management, Business Network for Logistics.
7. Basic Knowledge in one or more of the following solutions (Manufacturing): Integrated Business Planning, PP-DS, SNP, DP.
8. Knowledge of S/4HANA simplification list, SAP products roadmaps and solutions or products that are part of compatibility scope (e.g., APO, LES-TRA, WM).
9. Knowledge of Signavio and LeanIX is a plus.
