Job Description:
Responsible for:
- Supporting in manufacturing process establishment.
- Improving manufacturing process focused on small bore tube welding.
- Attending to troubleshoot activity in the Subsea Distribution (SSD) daily production activity and in the projects.
- Interacting with global engineering team for:
- QN Management
- Procedural update
- Design Review (DR) Management
- Technical discussion
- New product development
- QN disposal from Engineering standpoint.
- Reviewing, interpreting and analyzing, and circulating the in-house raw material test reports and supplier reports.
- Process optimization and taking full ownership of the welding process/ SSD products.
- Troubleshooting for process improvement and rectification.
- Coordinating with procurement team for providing technical clarifications and justifications.
- Coordinating with planning to understand forecast and execution strategy.
- Coordinating with planning and procurement for raw material requirement.
- Reviewing and approving process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, etc.
Requirements:
- Must possess a clear understanding of general math & the ability to read, write & comprehend English & Hindi.
- Ability to comprehend technical drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), Operation & Maintenance procedures, Quality & Safety Documents.
- Must be well versed with Small Bore tube welding process.
- Familiar with Subsea distribution products (UTA, Cobra head, Logic cap, HDM, SDU).
- Familiar with API and ASTM codes.
- Familiar with pressure codes and standards.
- Thorough understanding of Subsea distribution product line.
- Thorough knowledge on Assembly and testing of subsea distribution product line.
- Clear understanding and working experience with measuring and monitoring tools e.g. OD/ID meter, Hardness tester, PG/PT, Temperature gauges, etc.
- Exposure to shop floor environment is mandatory.
- Clear application understanding of heavy duty hydraulic equipment e.g. Hydraulic Press, CNC Machine, Oven, Milling Machine, Crane, Material Handling Equipment, etc.
- Knowledge on PLC setup & automation will be considered as additional advantage.
- Must be trained on operating overhead crane.
- Operating knowledge (with Valid License) of forklift would be an added advantage.
- Aware of Industrial safety standards.
- Ability to perform dimensional inspection for heavy weight oil & gas equipment would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of SAP roles for a process/manufacturing engineer.
- Sound knowledge about material handling and Assembly & Pressure Testing process.
- Working knowledge about lean implementation, VSMs and shop floor digitization.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience in industry or having relevant work experience of 8 years in industry with diploma.
