The Account Manager – Territory is responsible for developing and cultivating productive long-term relationships with customer’s key decision-makers to achieve orders and revenue projections. The Account Manager should work to identify new opportunities to build profitable market share and competitive advantage, creating new value for new and existing customers who operate in the Oil & Gas and Refinery, Chemical, Petrochemical markets.

This position reports to the Brazil Sales Manager and is part of the LATAM Commercial Team, located in São Paulo and will be working remotely to cover São Paulo state region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and develop key accounts for the region/markets assigned, being responsible to understand customers' technical pain points and to provide technical solutions for current and new applications;
  • Generate Pall product recommendations to meet customer requirements in support of closing new business;
  • Ensure competitive product knowledge within market advantage applications being capable to sell based on value proposition discussions with the customers;
  • Develop and manage opportunities using the sales funnel concepts via Sales Force (SFDC);
  • Travel for face-to-face interactions with customers in order to develop new opportunities.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering;
  • Background in technology/equipment companies with more than 3 years of progressive experience in technical sales and industrial functions;
  • Experience in dealing with customers on sales negotiations and technical issues;
  • Industrial process knowledge (experience with Refinery, Chemicals and Petrochemicals markets can be a differential);
  • Advanced in English (Spanish can be a differential).

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – 70% of the time;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • CRM - Sales Force;
  • Business with Petrobras – previous experience with Petrobras business environment.
