Lead Application Engineer: Physical Design - Synthesis and Digital Implementation

Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Lead Application Engineer: Physical Design - Synthesis and Digital Implementation to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of the Global Customer Success (GCS) team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The GCS team works with Digital, Analog, Verification, and Systems tools.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues, and provide solutions in the digital tools & flows.
2. Work closely with R&D and Product Engineering to identify and prioritize product improvement initiatives.
3. Ensure high impact knowledge content, tool adoption kits, and other high-level documents to increase self-service for customers.
4. Produce out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using tool capabilities or scripting techniques.
5. Deploy ML based solutions to improve productivity and PPA.
6. Narrow down complex problems and ensure quality CCRs for R&D resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Complete Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related fields.
2. Experience in Digital Implementation flows on advanced nodes.
3. Expertise in one or more domains – Synthesis/Physical Design - Place & Route/STA.
4. Excellent debugging skills and ability to separate critical issues from trivial ones.
