Responsibilities

1. Responsible for designing and implementing microservices-based solutions and strategy, as well as driving the adoption process of microservices within the organization.
2. Design, build, deploy, and support applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices technologies.
3. Apply microservices patterns and best practices for security and scalability.
4. Collaborate on system and network architecture to ensure robust application design.
5. Translate high-level technical definitions into executable solutions.
6. Estimate efforts for requested activities and support ongoing products/systems.
7. Develop and refine software features, assess implementation feasibility, and handle customer support tasks.
8. Manage change requests and enhancements, assisting with requirement progression through release processes.
9. Document procedures, testing phases, and recommendations for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
10. Participate in testing, quality assurance, and integration of local applications.
11. Record and report team performance metrics.
12. Create documentation as needed.

Requirements

1. 3+ years as a Developer
2. Relevant experience with microservices architecture
3. Great English skills - you will collaborate with global teams!
4. Java 8+
5. XML, JSON
6. Frameworks: Spring, Struts, REST Services, Angular
7. Databases: SQL, NoSQL
8. Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Message Queues, Caching systems

Desirable skills

1. Development for modern operating systems (Windows/Linux).
2. Knowledge of NodeJS, AWS (e.g., EC2, EKS, SQS, Redis), GCP (e.g., GCE, Pub/Sub), and Terraform.
3. Experience with debugging, client/backend layers, and monitoring tools (e.g., NewRelic).
4. Familiarity with scripting (Shell, Python) and participating in international technical meetings.

Additional Preferences:

1. Hands-on experience with:
   1. RESTful APIs, Swagger, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
   2. Cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and RDBMS, PostgreSQL queries.
   3. Production support and SLA ticket handling.
2. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and responsive design principles.
