Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and implementing microservices-based solutions and strategy, as well as driving the adoption process of microservices within the organization.
- Design, build, deploy, and support applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices technologies.
- Apply microservices patterns and best practices for security and scalability.
- Collaborate on system and network architecture to ensure robust application design.
- Translate high-level technical definitions into executable solutions.
- Estimate efforts for requested activities and support ongoing products/systems.
- Develop and refine software features, assess implementation feasibility, and handle customer support tasks.
- Manage change requests and enhancements, assisting with requirement progression through release processes.
- Document procedures, testing phases, and recommendations for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Participate in testing, quality assurance, and integration of local applications.
- Record and report team performance metrics.
- Create documentation as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a Developer
- Relevant experience with microservices architecture
- Great English skills - you will collaborate with global teams!
- Java 8+
- XML, JSON
- Frameworks: Spring, Struts, REST Services, Angular
- Databases: SQL, NoSQL
- Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Message Queues, Caching systems
Desirable skills
- Development for modern operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Knowledge of NodeJS, AWS (e.g., EC2, EKS, SQS, Redis), GCP (e.g., GCE, Pub/Sub), and Terraform.
- Experience with debugging, client/backend layers, and monitoring tools (e.g., NewRelic).
- Familiarity with scripting (Shell, Python) and participating in international technical meetings.
Additional Preferences:
- Hands-on experience with:
- RESTful APIs, Swagger, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and RDBMS, PostgreSQL queries.
- Production support and SLA ticket handling.
