About the Talend Integration Architect

The Talend Integration Architect performs the necessary facilitation, analysis and design tasks related to the development of integration solutions according to our Enterprise Technical Architecture (ETA). He/she applies these solutions to enable business strategies and processes, demonstrating expertise in enterprise integration patterns, including application integration, system integration, data integration, and API management. The Integration Architect will work with a development team to address business challenges and build integrations using our integration platforms.

Your tasks

1. Design and architect integration solutions based on business requirements and enterprise technical architecture.
2. Apply Talend Platform knowledge to create scalable and secure integration designs.
3. Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, following security best practices.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data consultants, architects, and other developers, to ensure successful system integration.
5. Identify and resolve technical issues related to integration solutions, and support developers in troubleshooting complex incidents.
6. Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions, including design documents, API specifications, and configuration details.
7. Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to developers or team members.
8. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed integration solutions, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Your profile

1. Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS protocol, REST, RESTful, JSON services, network architecture, RAML, Async API, XML, messaging standards (SOAP, JMS), API-led connectivity.
2. Deep knowledge of integration architecture concepts, Microservices, SOA, API-driven design, ETL.
3. Knowledge of design patterns in Enterprise Application Integration.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and debug Talend jobs, integration workflows, and system-related issues.
5. Strong analytical skills to assess data integration challenges and propose effective solutions.
6. Creation of project documentation and user specifications.
7. Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
8. DevOps implementation for data integrations.
9. Experience with Agile/Scrum, basic Cloud (Azure) knowledge.
10. Continuous process improvement mindset.
11. Excellent technical communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
12. Availability to work in a hybrid regime in Campinas/SP.
13. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
14. 3+ years of experience in data integration or ETL development, preferably with Talend (certification in Talend is a plus).
