Overview
We are seeking our new Business Development Rep to join the Axway team!
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role in driving Axway’s growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers. This role bridges the gap between Marketing and Sales, ensuring that high-quality leads are nurtured and converted into valuable business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Understand the Field Marketing plan and priorities
- Identify ideal personas to become customers and pursue leads with this profile
- Work with the Sales team to build target lists and research for contacts from the identified accounts
- Qualify leads generated from Marketing activities
- Schedule discovery meetings from qualified leads
- Prioritize, assign and pass leads to sales
- Promote our suite of solutions to professionals across specific vertical industries
- Convert prospects and marketing qualified leads into sales ready leads by articulating Axway’s value proposition
- Build new relationships and maintain existing ones through proactive outbound, inbound, internal communication
- Work with Field Marketing and Sales to manage and deliver outbound campaigns to drive awareness and build the sales pipeline
- Work and interact with the Sales Teams to maximize cross-selling of the Axway portfolio
- Research and uncover new projects across our target markets
- Ensure solutions are highly usable, scalable, extensible and maintainable on SFDC and related tools
- Create and maintain documentation, reports, dashboards, application configuration, user testing for all activities related to Salesforce.com (SFDC) administration and related environment
- Safeguard Axway and Axway customer data through compliance with Axway policies and the appropriate use of Axway equipment and facilities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in promoting software/technical solutions
- Previous Sales, call center and/or telemarketing experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web conferencing tools.
- Ability to use Salesforce.com (SFDC), LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other online tools effectively

Education
- A degree in Business, Marketing or Computer Science preferred but not required.
