Application Engineer I: Analog IC Design and Layout

Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Application Engineer I: Analog IC Design and Layout to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of the Global Customer Success (GCS) team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The GCS team works with Digital, Analog, Verification, and Systems tools. To understand more about our tools & flows, you can visit https://www.cadence.com

Job Responsibilities

1. Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues, and provide solutions in the Custom IC design tools & flows.
2. Establish technical credibility and rapport with the customer and R&D.
3. Ensure high impact knowledge content, tool adoption kits, and other high-level documents to increase self-service for customers. Produce out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using either tool capabilities or scripting techniques.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Complete Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related fields.
2. Exposure to CMOS fundamentals, Digital Electronics, process technologies, etc.
3. Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Perl/TCL.
4. Excellent debugging and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Exposure to Analog IC Schematic & Layout is an added advantage.
2. Exposure to Cadence Design Framework II, Virtuoso tools, and SKILL is a plus.
