Team Overview

We are looking for an Insights & Research Manager to join the Fintech team! In this role, you will bridge the gap between data and actionable insights, which influence strategic decisions. Your work will be fundamental in providing a deep understanding of our brand and our users to inform business about past performance, while forecasting future trends and identifying opportunities.

You will report to the Sr. Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, managing both quantitative and qualitative research initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include our brand trackers and executing high-impact research studies that align with our business objectives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for our brand health tracker, collecting and analyzing data from the market, identifying trends and consumer behavior to inform strategic initiatives;
  • Develop expertise in our metrics, demonstrating great analytical ability;
  • Manage critical stakeholder relations internally at a cross-functional level and externally with collaborators and vendors.
  • Play a critical role in helping the business leaders and teams build deep, holistic, and data-oriented user understanding, customers’ market perception and reaction towards competitors, as well as the positioning of 99’s own Fintech product and service;
  • Responsible for developing and presenting insights-driven reports to key stakeholders.

Role Qualifications

  • Graduate of Statistics, Economics, Business, Social Science or related courses;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in market research, especially quantitative studies - brand health/NPS tracking experience a must;
  • Extensive experience in dealing with different research types, including but not limited to qualitative, quantitative, behavioral, and attitudinal research.
  • Familiar with different research methods, as well as the ability to deal with large amounts of data through statistical analysis.
  • Ability to conduct studies from start to finish (draft questionnaires, data processing, draft reports, and make presentations);
  • Strong communication skills, ability to generate empathy with customers and internal business stakeholders, and manage effective collaborations with cross-functional teams;
  • Have a curiosity, problem-solving, and design thinking mindset;
  • Fluent in English – we use it daily;
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Experience in agency/institute side;
  • Work experience with fintechs/payment institutions/digital banks a plus;
  • Knowledge of statistical software is an advantage;
