You are the excitement factor in the Fireside Café. You have a passion for great food and coffees, and it shows in your job as well as your life. You will provide high-quality customer service to all guests in a speedy, professional, and efficient manner. This position requires shift work and is a seasonal position.

Essential Functions:

1. Deliver a positive attitude to all guests while generating a feeling of being in the friendliest atmosphere on the planet.
2. Become proficient in creating all coffee-based products and in-house recipes.
3. Work in a high-paced environment while performing multiple tasks.
4. Perform daily outside building walks and ensure the entrance to the deli is always impressive.
5. Complete side work and daily and weekly duties before, during, and after your shift.
6. Assist in the restaurant as needed.
7. Work in a speedy fashion while delivering great customer service.
8. Participate in creating a team environment and use animation and incentive programs to provide a fun atmosphere for employees and guests.
9. Ensure all patrons are of the legal drinking age by requesting and inspecting identification.
10. Serve tables and have a desire to learn.
11. Ensure personal hygiene and maintain a clean, crisp, and professional appearance.

Experience/Requirements:

1. Secondary Education Diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a guest service-related job.
3. Barista and restaurant service experience is an asset.
4. B.C. Serving it Right Certificate.
5. Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and carry 50 lbs.
