SAP Product Owner for OMG Billing, Pricing & Tax

Responsibilities and Assignments

• Product Backlog Management: The PO is responsible for maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that features and enhancements in SAP SD align with business needs. Key point is to prioritize accordingly to the legal/regulatory changes deadlines. This includes clearly defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and creating tasks in the backlog. Another important topic is organizing the board in the Azure tool.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: The Product Owner must work closely with stakeholders, including other products inside the Order Management product family and other product families such as material and customer master data, finance, and the connectivity team, to ensure that SAP solutions meet those expectations.
• Business Process Analysis: The Product Owner should be able to analyze and optimize sales and distribution processes, leveraging SAP SD to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations. Nota fiscal and SA region eInvoice knowledge will be a plus.
• Participation in Agile Meetings: The PO must actively participate in agile ceremonies, such as replenishment, to share new requirements with the team and daily meetings to understand and remove blocks, ensuring development progress.
• Support: The PO is responsible for ongoing support to address questions and issues that may arise.

Requirements and Qualifications

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the SAP SD module and sales and distribution processes, especially topics related to pricing, billing, and tax.
• Advanced English language skills, as our product is part of a global Order Management team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, organize, and manage time effectively.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in similar roles, preferably in environments utilizing SAP.
• Certifications in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner - CSPO) are a plus.
