Job Description:
The Product Owner’s primary goal is to maximize the value delivered by the product to the customers and stakeholders. This involves modernizing in-place infrastructure, understanding the needs and desires of the Cloud CoE customers and stakeholders, defining the product’s features and requirements, and prioritizing the work of the product team. This position is focused on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
What are we looking for?
Bachelor of sciences degree or equivalent in engineering field/IT/Computer Science/Management.
5+ Years' experience within IT (Application or Technology).
Strong knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Proficiency in Kubernetes concepts such as pods, services, deployments, config maps, and secrets.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Understanding of AKS networking concepts, including load balancers, ingress controllers, and DNS.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex Kubernetes issues.
Proven leadership and influencing experience through interaction with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Desirable Kubernetes Administration Certification.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Maintain AKS environment compatible with internal requirements and relevant to customer areas.
Be accountable for teams that provision, configure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
Manage and optimize the lifecycle of AKS clusters, including upgrades and scaling.
Ensure high availability and reliability of AKS workloads.
Create scalable and secure Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
Configure networking components such as load balancers, ingress controllers, and network policies.
Manage persistent storage and configure storage classes for AKS workloads.
Work with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of applications into Kubernetes environments.
Participate in Cloud Architecture Review Boards (ARB) for KPI, SLA/O definition.
Be a cloud ambassador by providing guidance and direction to Cloud CoE customers on cloud adoption.
Contribute to root cause analysis and major incident reviews as required.
Develop and maintain documentation for the Kubernetes infrastructure.
