Job Purpose:
Responsible for leading the BSBF program and public health initiatives in Brazil, this position plays an important role in positioning Colgate as a key partner for Government entities, Universities, Academia and NGOs in the evolution of public health policies towards better Oral Health. Also plays a key role in ensuring the connection of Oral Health stakeholders (e.g. KTLs and Associations) to Colgate Equity consumer campaigns and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides Strategic Leadership on BSBF and Public Health being the key point of contact for the Colgate equity team in the development of consumer campaigns and initiatives such as Oral Health Month.
  • Leads the BSBF Direct program by managing a Third Party agency with the objective of achieving kids at schools in the public system with Oral Health education and distribution of OC kits.
  • Engages key NGOs (e.g. STB and ABOPED) in the execution of BSBF activities using the partners' structures.
  • Ensures the coverage of target number of children via BSBF indirect model and digital tools.
  • Establishes and Monitors quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
  • Establishes governance processes to ensure legal compliance and quality core education and health education standards in all BSBF activities.
  • Leads the adaptation of all Global BSBF Materials and assets and development of relevant local materials.

Public Health:

  • Engages with Public Health entities and authorities (e.g. Ministry of Health) to advocate for health-promoting systemic change via policy development and implementation.
  • Develops strong relationships with relevant public health organizations, associations and universities to drive joint collaboration initiatives.
  • Establishes access to key public health and nursing schools and programs for public health evidence generation to support usage of consumer and professional products in public health settings.
  • Develops and identifies opportunities exploring and implementing new partnerships with relevant stakeholders in public health and government.

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Degree in Dentistry or life sciences, Public health, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • Experience in Public or Government relations positions in an oral care company, a pharmaceutical company or in similar regulated environments.
  • Experience with Academia / KTL Relationship is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • English advanced level.
  • Cross functional team player.
  • Project Management.
  • Google tools.
  • Postgraduate/MBA will be a plus.
