About the Role
The Business Development Executive will acquire new customers as we continue to grow an international business. You'll be responsible for prospecting and growing revenue within a defined geographic market. The role will require close collaboration with the regional sales team to maximise revenue opportunities. Some travel may be required to support customers and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting and selling of solutions to new customers
  2. Following up on regional leads, outbound calling and social selling using LinkedIn and other applications.
  3. Conducting appropriate consultative selling processes including product demonstrations, presentations and tender responses
  4. Learning the value proposition and use cases for the assigned portfolio and territory
  5. Owning contract negotiation, preparation and closing of sale.
  6. Keeping up to date with market developments, such as major regulatory changes and new product offerings
  7. Preparing and maintaining an effective sales territory plan
  8. Keeping an accurate record of all client activity, pipeline and forecasts within Salesforce CRM

Requirements

  1. Have excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (in addition to Brazil, will have clients in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay);
  2. Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets;
  3. Ability to work in a team environment and receive inputs from aligned regional sales team;
  4. Experience of a proven sales methodology;
  5. Be able to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients;
  6. Be results-driven with a dedicated work ethic;
  7. Be able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks;
  8. Be proficient in using technology, including CRM software, ideally SalesForce, and Microsoft Office.

* This is a hybrid position in São Paulo.
