Covetrus Brasil is looking for a HR Business Partner Coordinator to join the Operations team. This position will report to the HR Director. This role implements HR solutions that will contribute to the organization’s objectives in talent acquisition, employee engagement and performance management. In addition, this role will execute HR procedures to increase the efficiently and effectiveness of the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implementation of local and corporate HR strategy, policies and processes that will support the company’s vision, business strategies & goals.
- Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on HR issues.
- Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
- Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruiting retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development.
- Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Lead core HR processes across products (performance calibration, compensation cycle, promotions).
- Analyse and interpret various types of employee reports (e.g., compensation, job levels, and attrition) to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to their client group.
- Partner with Learning & Development to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility, and job performance.
- Responsible for delivery of HR practices such as recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, etc.
- Support the leadership team in maximizing workforce efficiency, while increasing organizational capabilities.
- Support talent processes by educating Managers to generate objective and fair decisions, counselling & supporting them on the fundamentals of learning needs and skill gap analysis.
- Manage and resolves complex employee relations issues.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Act as a change agent and employee champion, providing expertise in the area of people & organizational development.
- Act as trusted advisor by providing proactive and solid HR consultancy, advice and coaching.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous HR generalist experience is mandatory
- Proven experience working as a HRBP Coordinator, HRBP Supervisor or similar role
- Experience working in a highly commercial, matrix environment.
- Experience of working with US organisations and cultures will be highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, business administration, economy, or relevant field
- Postgraduate degree in the area is desirable
- Familiarity with Workday human resources management system preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Strong organization skills, including setting priorities, planning, structuring project deliverables and problem solving
- Strong analytic ability and skills, using data and metrics to evaluate needs, identify trends, drive change and measure impact
- Very “Hands on” and detail oriented
- Skilled in building partnerships and working collaboratively across multiple teams
- Broad and deep experience as an HRBP leader with generalist knowledge of organizational development, talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, compensation practices, employee and union relations, diversity, workforce management and Brazilian labour law.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently
