E&I and Controls Lead

+NR is looking for an experienced engineer with expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation and control disciplines to join our Client’s office as part of our dedicated support team. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can contribute to the successful execution of offshore substation projects by providing engineering support, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Electrical Engineer

• 10 years of experience, preferably in Offshore Substations.
• Familiarity with German BSH requirements.
• Expertise in the basic design of MV/LV systems.
• Required code knowledge: IEC, VDE, ATEX, MED, IEEE, DNVGL.
• Proficient in design development, including:
• Electrical One-Line Diagram.
• Wiring diagrams for Electrical Distribution (MV & LV).
• UPS system design.
• Load List preparation.
• Electrical analyses using ETAP.
• Lighting calculation (Dialux or similar).
• Technical specifications for electrical equipment, cables, etc.
• Data sheet preparation.
• Conduct technical evaluations.
• Assist in Factory Acceptance Tests at vendor installations.
• Ensure coordination with other engineering disciplines and within the department.
• Perform design and analysis activities as per project assignments.
• Generate project status reports on a weekly and monthly basis.

Instrumentation & Control Engineer

• Higher Technical Engineering degree.
• 10 years of experience, preferably in Offshore Substations.
• Familiarity with German BSH requirements.
• Experience in I&C subsystems including:
• DCS, SCADA, field instrumentation.
• Functional Design Specification (FDS), Fire Fighting (FiFi), Inert Gas & communication protocols.
• Control System topology design for offshore projects.
• Preparation of technical documents: IO List, Instrument List, Cause & Effect Matrix, Functional Descriptions, Control Narratives.
• Technical specification of motorized and pneumatic valves.
• Specification of I&C cables.
• Flowchart development based on process descriptions.
• Assistance in Factory Acceptance Tests at vendor installations.
• Expediting, technical evaluation, and follow-up on the purchase of I&C devices.
• Fire Detection System control.
• Team management in I&C projects.
• Ensure coordination of works with other disciplines within the Engineering Department and the I&C team.
• Execute design and analysis activities as per assigned project tasks.
• Generate project status reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
